Welcome baby Madeline, weighing in at 6lbs. 9oz., born to Rebecca and Kelly this afternoon at 2:30. Mommy did a great job. We are all soooo excited for her arrival.

I Can't Believe That I Forgot My Camera!

Today was Ada and Calvin's birthday party. Ada will by 3 and Calvin will be 1. We had a lovely time at the real cool Pioneer Park in Tustin. Lots of little kids playing in the water fountains, yummy food and good company. It was a fun time. The only thing is that I forgot to bring my camera so I can't post any pictures. I'm sure Christina will post some pictures so you can check out her blog site soon.

Lunch with Calvin and Esther

These videos were taken on two different occasions. Calvin does not like to eat anything with a spoon so I had to fake him out with a banana so that he would eat some of his chicken with noodles. Esther is just learning to eat...she likes the spoon a little better than Calvin but she's not too sure about the food.

The Face of a New Boat Owner

Earlier this week we went to Lake Havasu to purchace our new family member. We are now the proud parent of a Yamaha AR210 ski boat. We took it out into the lake and had a real fun time...I can't wait to bring the kids up there this summer. My parents bought our old boat and are now into the boating scene again.

One of our favorite things to do in Lake Havasu is to float in the warm lake.

We had a Yummy lunch at the Topock Marina.

Fun Day at the Beach

Sam wanted to go to the beach on Memorial Day. I thought that it would be crazy crowded but it wasn't too bad and we had a wonderful time. Scott and Katie came home with a little extra sand in their pants.

Thirty Year Reunion

Can you believe it has been thirty years since Michael has graduated from High School!!!???!!! We had a nice time and it was fun to see all of our old friends and to see how each has aged. Some hardly aged at all and some more than others. I'm just glad that we are over the high school stage. It's soooo .....High School!!

Mother's Day 2007

We had a wonderful Mother's Day! We had a picnic in the park behind Grandma Shirley's house and we got this family picture. It's hard to get us all together in the same place. Most of us are facing the camera...we'll have to get Calvin next time.

Easter Bunny Picnic

Yesterday our family and friends met at Irvine park to celebrate Easter. We has such a fun time eating, playing, socializing and holding my grandbabies. I got to play soccer for the first time and oh my gosh! I am so sore! I am going to have to get more exercise and get into better shape.

Mr. & Mrs. Do-it-yourself Get over the Hump

Okay! Were are finally over the hump. After two years of working on our kitchen we can finally start cooking. We installed the tile backsplash last week and are ready to start working on the floorboards and mouldings above the cupboards. It's so nice to cook on new appliances. Thanks honey for all of your hard work... you rock!!!!

Hair Day

Wow!!! I feel like a new woman! Thanks Carol for lunch and the fun time we had playing beauty shop. Today Carol and I got together to do each other's hair....I think it has been a year since the last time and boy did I need my hair cut! Carol took off a good 8 - 10 inches and I feel like a new person. I even got to visit with Tunte Norma.

Our visits together are not only good for our looks, it's good for our souls.

Grandma Heaven

I know that I haven't bloogged in a long time. My life has been sooooo busy with the tons of homework that I do every day and the kitchen remodeling. But now I have a moment. Monday Samuel turned 16. Can you believe that? Time goes by so fast. It was just yesterday when he was five and running around the house with his Power Ranger sweats on. Now he is such a nice young man getting ready to drive and to date. We had a nice little party for him. His brothers and sisters were all here as well as the "grandbabies". They are soooo much fun. Here I am sitting in the recliner cuddling with all three of them. That is what I call "Grandma Heaven", the only thing is is that my lap seems to be growing with the amout of room needed to have them sit on it....and Rebecca's baby is due in September....eeeeeeeeek!

We've Been Waiting For This Day!

We've waited 88 years to take this picture. Five Generations of women with the most beautiful matriarch in the middle. It is truly a miracle to be in the presence of my Grandmother and my Granddaughter at the same time. And for all of us to be together is divine. What a grand heritage I belong to. If I could only rise to the examples that have been set before me I could leave an awesome legacy for those to come. I am truly blessed!

The Ball is Starting to Roll!!!

Woohoo!!! Things are finally starting to change around here. Yesterday I took these pictures after the installers left early because of rain...but so far, so good. I love the wood floor, it makes such a huge difference. As you can see...the Kitchen is totally gutted but the cabinets are being delivered today and the appliances on Friday.......There really is a light at the end of this LONG tunnel!!!

New Pictures

Here Kellie and Scott are taking Little Esther out for her first walk in the beautiful sun shiny Day. Needless to say, she just loved it....well, okay....she slept through it...but I think that sleeping through it translates into loving it in baby.

This picture totally reminds me of Kellie when she was a new baby...same coloring...same eyes...and just so absolutely adorable.... Notice the little pink sweater outfit that she is wearing...complements of yours truly...I just love it. Really...grandchildren are my reward for letting my teenagers live.

Welcome Esther Maria

I am so happy to announce the birth of our little Esther Maria, born January 12, 2007! She came after three hours of pushing, weighing in at a whopping 7lbs. 11oz and 19 1/2 inches long. As you can see she has tons of beautiful black hair and at first she looked exactly like her mother did when she was born but as time goes on, she looks a lot like her daddy. Kellie and Scott are so cute. They are totally in love with this angel and are in heaven. They are such a cute family. It was sooo cool being there in the delivery room to witness such a miracle. We are truly blessed.

Kellie's Baby Shower

Kellie had her baby shower this last weekend, given by Grandma Shirley and Christina. We had a very nice time and she got some real cute outfits(for the baby that is). We can hardly wait for her arrival. Then we can play dress-up.
