Homecoming for Marina

Touchdown!!!!

I'm excited for the game tonight. I sure hope that Marina can pull off a win. It has been so fun to watch Sam and his friends play football these last five years. I'll really miss it, although Aaron says that he wants to start up again next year. We'll see if he'll keep up the Wilson tradition following in the footsteps of his Dad, Uncle David, Joey & Sam, all playing for Marina. Here is the Independent's article for the week. And a few more pictures from last week's game.

Marina Football 2008

Football season has begun....and again it's football, football, football. High school football, college football and the pros. This year we are rooting for several teams. Marina for sure, but also USC (because it's a tradition), UCLA when they're not playing USC (this is new this year, but with Scott going to UCLA Law, we must support the school), and BYU (because it is also a tradition and because they are doing so dang good!) As far as the pros go... I don't really care. I like to root for the underdog.

Choo Choo!

Calvin loves to come to Grandma's and play with the choo-choo. This time we set out the Tomy choo choo set. I thought that it might me a little too advanced for Calvin but it worked out great. He was very gentle and patient with it. Uncle Aaron set up this awesome track configuration and we played for a long time. What was amazing is that the battery in the engine was the same one from when Aaron was a little guy and it still worked. The train set is actually from when Sam was a little guy. Can you believe we still have all of the pieces?

Blast to the Past Photo of the Week ( Sisters )

Now don't get me wrong....I love my boys and football and stuff, but I sure do miss those days when I was the Mommy of little girls. Frilly lace, ballerinas, dollies and Barbies. Pretty long braids and fingernail polish. How sweet! Sometimes I would like to roll back time for a day and revisit the good old days.

Question: If you could go back in time for just a day, What day would you pick and why? Leave a comment.
